Turns out Ana Gastayer (from the well-known SNL skit NPR Schwedy Balls)can actually sing and her holiday album's title song (which also names a couple of my especially favorite things during the holidays) should be put into regular rotation as background holiday music in shopping malls imho.

I've been listening to Jonathan Coulton's 70's soft rock remake album, "Some Guys".

It's kinda weird, because it's not really a parody album. I guess that he figured that these songs are cheesy enough to stand on their own He really nails these covers, though!
