Yeah, that does sound way too much like sabbath really. Pretty nice copy really, Sabbath could probably sue em 😛

You could just listen to the original.

I've listened to their old stuff for over 20 years, you need some new stuff once in a while, even if it's a copy of the sound.

I didn't know he was with Wild Cherry (Play the Funky Music) and I could have sworn that Ah Leah was older than 1981. Watching the video I was like, "What's with the 80s crap?", but it was the 80s so carry on.

I played in a bar band with one of the former Wild Cherry guys for awhile, I just ran across it messing around.

The guitar riff from "play that funky music" does ring a bell 😵

I've gotten told old for the bar band thing I guess 😛

😀
Their old stuff was about 40 years ago.

😉

First rock music i remember hearing was Kiss back in 78(ish) I'm not old like you yet 😀 It took me another 11 years to hear my first Black Sabbath but i was hooked , still remember it to this day, they played the beginning of Iron Man on the High Schools PA system 🙂

I was also a wee lad when KISS came on the scene. I remember thinking, "KISS is awesome, but their music sucks." This is an opinion that has not changed one bit in these many years.

😀

Was funny, my little brother was a KISS maniac ATT, my grandfather painted murals and he painted a whole wall of his room with the Destroyer album cover 🙂

But back to the music 😉
I've seen KISS more than any other band live, and i can not stand them any more, same with a good friend of mine who was a HUGE KISS fanatic back in High School ,he now just listens to all the old stuff especially Sabbath and says all the new music sucks, yet never tries to find new music.

Anyways...

One of my favorite Pearl Jam songs
