Tee set - Ma belle amie

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tee_Set
Tee Set was a pop rock band formed in 1966 in Delft, Netherlands. The group recorded a single in 1969 entitled "Ma Belle Amie", which was a hit in their native country, selling over 100,000 copies.[1] The group released an album in the United States on Colossus Records in 1970 entitled Ma Belle Amie (the single of the same name listing the artist as 'The Tee Set'), which reached #158 on the Billboard 200 chart,[2] just as the single took off in America, eventually reaching #5.[3] The single sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc

Ma belle amie
You were a child of the sun
And the sky and the deep blue sea
Ma belle amie
Apres tous les beaux jours
Je te dis merci merci
You were the answer of all my questions
Before we're through
I want to tell you that I adore you
And always do
That you amaze me by leaving me now
And start a-new
Ma belle amie I'm in love with you

CHORUS
Let the bells ring
Let the birds sing
Let's all give my substitute a big cheer
Let the bells ring
Let the birds sing
For the man after him waits here
For the man after him waits here

Ma belle amie
You were a child of the sun
And the sky and the deep blue sea
Ma belle amie
There was a time that you thought
That your only friend was me
You were the answer of all my questions
Before we're through
I want to tell you that I adore you
And always do
That you amaze me by leaving me now
And start a-new
Ma belle amie I'm in love with you

By accident (absentminded) i had the Madonna soundtrack running 2 times with a delay of about 2 minutes in between and pressed the link for the Ghost in the shell sound track.
That made for a very unusual mix but sounded very well.

Ghost in the shell - Soundtrack.
Madonna - To have and not to hold.

Phil Collins - Another Day In Paradise

That song sucks. Which is a shame cuz it had an important message.

Then you didn't get what the song means, then and now. It's about Homelessness and how a lot of people shun/ignore people in need of help, no matter how small an effort it takes.

Lyrics

One of my favorite songs that have meaning, compared to the current useless crap you find these days.
