Amorphis is an amazing band, the entire Skyforger album is amazing, as well as the rest of their stuff

I really liked Skyforger. The other albums don't do so much for me. They have an incredibly epic sound; you really just have to listen to the entire album in one sitting to get a feel for it.



I'm currently digging The Mars Volta - Tetragrammaton. These guys have absolutely no restraint though; the music is all over the place.

Jade Castrinos is amazing. About time she got her own feature song in the band. The girl belts like Janis Joplin, minus all the self destructive drama.

Eclipse, Silent waters & Biginning of Times are really similar to skyforger, odd that you feel they way you do. their earlier albums are quite different however
