Gnarls Barkley - Blind Mary
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHerEOnajZg

Imagine to use plasma discharges to communicate. Similar as the people who found a way to make electric (plasma arc) discharges produce music :

YEAHHHHHHH!
I love, Mary! (I love Mary)
Blind Mary, marry me (marry me)
I love, Mary! (la lah lah)

[Cee-Lo]
She has never seen the sunshine (sunshine)
Yet she's getting along just fine (fine)
She's not staying, she's just passing through (through-ooh-ooeooh-ooh)
Hey, do you mind if I follow you?
Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

[Chorus: Cee-Lo]
I love, Mary! (I love Mary)
Blind Mary, marry me (marry me)
I love, Mary! (la la lah)
Yeaaaahhhhhhhhhh

[Cee-Lo]
I heard a voice say catch me if you can
Before you know it I was holding her hand
It's harder to imagine than understand
How she knows exactly who I am
Yeaaaahhhhhhhhhh

[Chorus]

[Cee-Lo]
She's my friend, she doesn't judge me
She has no idea I'm ugly
So I've absolutely nothing to hide
Because I'm so much prettier inside
Yeaaaahhhhhhhhhh

[Chorus]

Would one sound like the singer of Gnarls Barkley in Blind mary ?
I would say yes.

Been on a huge 80s-influenced synthpop kick lately.

Recommend Anoraak, Tesla Boy and FM Attack to get you started if you want to join me in my obsession.

Listening to the Drive soundtrack. I like it a lot; can't believe it took me this long to buy the damn thing considering how much I liked the movie.

Helloween- Dr. Stein from Unarmed.

I've been getting into Helloween for a bit and that album really caught me off guard. I always thought that song from KOTSK II was pretty silly, but man that song was redone well. It's still not the same without Kiske and Hans.

Also, the Keeper Medley with the orchestra was boner inducing.
