Don't - I got it for free and couldn't even force myself to watch all of it. And I spread it through 2 sittings.

I think it's one of those sleeper hits which now has a cult like following.

I didn't really read the reviews since I thought it would be funny and knew that Mike Judge directed it.

1999 was an awesome year for movies.

A lot of the truly cool movies never get good ratings by critics, because they're wussies. They want to see cheesy love stories, lots of subtitles, confusing plots, etc. In other words, if you are a normal person, take what the critics say as backwards and you'll be all set.

By the way, I'm pretty sure most comedies (Billy Madison, Tommy Boy, Ace Ventura, anything) get crappy ratings by critics but the audiences love them and watch them over and over.
