I liked the remake better then the original honastly and I was refering to the 1967 Eleanor instead of the 1973. The 73 stang is nice (actually a 71 with differant a differant bumper grill and headlights) but the 67 is just sexier then any other car in existence in my opinion.

Need for Speed was the first thing that popped into my head as well but I think that's more a racing movie then a chase?

Nightwatch/Daywatch (I forget which) has a pretty awesome chase scene.

IIRC Eagle Eye had some good chase scenes (believe it was directed by same person as Nightwatch/Daywatch).

Didn't Ronin have a good chase scene too? (been forever...so maybe I'm thinking of something else). (hah, if I had actually read the thread I would have seen that Ronin was mentioned in the OP. At least I know my memory isn't completely failing me).

Also the car chase scenes in Blue Thunder where Roy Scheider's character FUBARS the police cars chasing after his girlfriends car are pretty cool.
