I use the back & forward buttons hundreds of times every day.

Depriving us of that right by leaving only one button behind on the G5 is a horrifying mistake on Logitech's part :(

As everybody knows that Logitech MX 518 has buttons for 400 and 1600DPI by default and once you move to 400DPI, pressing 1600DPI moves you to 800DPI.

I have a 17" CRT on 10X7 for desktop and games at 12X10 and I use 800DPI.
1600DPI is too fast.

you can get a razor copper head instead of these two if you want

i have read a lot about logitech failing after a yr, though they do have 3yrs warranty atleast on high end models i think

Hell no it's not.

I use 1600 all the time, & i find it annoying that's not the default.
