Old freaking awesome clickity keyboard. Not so old that it still has an AT style connector though, but it came with a PS2-AT adapter, so it's pretty old and awesome. Can't stand the feel of ergo keyboards or those quiet-key ones. I want tactile feedback when I type. That, and you can never break these things. And I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer V1, represent.

You'd be surprised how much a good kb/mouse improves your experience.

A good monitor, kb, and mouse, is a much, much better investement than a new video card (trust me).

I hate using mouses that don't have the 3 extra buttons that the MX has on top of them.

I really don't use any of the non-standard keyboard buttons (except for the volume wheel), but I couldn't live without a wireless keyboard.

Same here. I never even bother to set up any of the other hotkeys.

Actually I just use an itouch Logitech keyboard and a Logitech optical mouse, which has two major improvements:
1) led replaced with infrared led --> dark mouse
2) one mouse foot replaced with scotch tape

i have a generic ergonomic keyboard i bought off ebay about 4 years ago for $15 - its clear and clear blue... but the best thing bout it is there is an "enter" key right in the middle where the split is... i've gotten so use to having one there i don't know what i would do if this thing ever breaks

mouse - logitech cordless mouseman - again another ebay buy, about $8 if i recall... not a laser mouse, but it still works so i don't see a need to replace it... i luv the style of it as well... fits my hand very well
