I only have the single link ones at home, I never have used DVI. I am currently using the suppled DVI to VGA adapter to run a cable to my Sony G500.

Are the 24AWG on Monoprice the way to go or is there something better bang for buck/quality?

This is the one I am looking at:http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10209&cs_id=1020901&p_id=2686&seq=1&format=2

With the investment I have made in the monitor, calibrator and software I don't want to skrimp on the cable.

Thanks

Unless your running > 100 ft of cable, it really won't matter. Digital is digital, if it gets there it gets there, otherwise you'll definitally notice ;p.

Use DVI or Displayport, with any cable really. The one you picked out looks great.

Make sure its long enough! 6ft is barely cutting it for me as I move my monitor up when I game

Ah. I had my 2690 swapped out earlier this year and I seemed to remember a DVI cable coming with it.
