What mobo to pair with i5 2500K?

So I read the anandTech review of the ASRock P67 EXTREME4, newegg.com reviews and it seems like this board is very solid. My concern is that I can't find a ton of review for this board (newegg.com has 16 as of right now). I'm planning on pairing this with a core i5 2500k. Do you guys have any horror stories on this board, or any reason not to get it? I love the price, but do worry about the 1 year warranty.

I should note I'm not a gamer if this matters at all. Just building a solid machine that hopefully won't become obsolete in a few years!

Is there any other boards in the $150 price range that competes with this board?

Thanks for any advice!

I have it and although I can't predict it's long term reliability it appears to be a great board. ASRock also extends the warranty to 2 years. Honestly if it lasts more than a year I will probably be ready for a new build anyway.

Get it before they sell out again.

If you haven't, you can also read this thread here.

yeah, I think I will give this mobo a try. I love the USB 3.0 bracket they include with it. With work great with my HAF 932 Coolermaster case.

The usb 2.0 and 3.0 speeds too, are faster than the competition in their benchmarks.

I don't see the USB bracket with the pro..

You might have to go with the extreme to get that ..

yeah, thinking I will stick with the extreme. Bracket is probably $15-20 on its own anyways, and will need one in the future.

Plenty of reviews so try their website here http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P67%20Extreme4 there is over 10 reviews(Award section) so choose one and click a review link ;).

As to threads nice Asrock Extreme4/6 thread here http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=265903 .

Btw Asrock are giving you an extra free one year warranty if you buy before end of June,http://www.asrock.com/news/events/201102ex/warranty.html .
