it's been a while since i built my last computer and am completely behind the times as to which chipsets to use w/which cpu.

my goal is to build a cheap server for home. thus looking for a cheap mobo for a duron and has built in video. built in network card is a plus, but i have a spare nic. I don't need raid and overclocking doesn't matter.

i'm probably going to buy it at newegg.com (cpu + mobo and probably hd).

also, anyone know of a good place to buy a barebones kit (case/floppy/cdrom/etc)? Newegg doesnt seem to sell kits.

THX

You'd get more responses to this question if you posted it in the "General Hardware" forum. ;)

Do you already have RAM? Or are you going to buy more memory? I don't know anything about motherboards with onboard video. But i'd recommend a VIA KT266A board if you going to buying RAM. If you already have RAM, then i'd suggest a VIA KT133A based board.
