Yanks by far.

Did you guys see the rookie Bubba Trammel? With everybody talking about either Bernie or Lofton in centerfield, I think Trammel will end up winning the job. He played in only 2 games so far but has already hit two huge hommers and made some amazing plays in the outfield. He also got a lot of speed on the bases. Now he may not continue hitting homers, but he's definitely a great CF defensively.
Did you see the series this weekend where the White Sox held them to under 5 runs a game? The scores were 1-3, 9-3, 7-3, 4-5 (Sox\Yankees) for each of the four games. The Yankees can be explosive, but IMO, they're not the best offense in the game today.

You can't judge a team by 3 games. If we're gonna judge by the past week then Detroit has the best team. We all know that's not the case. It should be obvious to everybody (except to blind yankee haters) that yanks have the best lineup in the majors. Just compare position by position...
Well maybe to blind Yankee lovers they'll always have the best lineup in the majors. Just look at Cubs fans.... :p

Sorry to rain on your parade, but paper is useless. The game is played on the field, not the press.

Sorry to rain on your parade but NY has played EIGHT games out of 162 this year.

On paper, the Yankees have the best lineup, IMO. Sure, the game is played on the field or whatever, but I'd rather make an evaluation 'on paper' than off of less than 10 games.

What's your point? Just about everyone has played EIGHT games out of 162 this year.

The point is that 8 games is a very small sample size. Going 0-5 in two games would completely skew a player's current season statistics. Over 162 games, AROD is more likely to go to his career average instead of maintaining a sub .700 OPS.
