No poll as ther eaer too many and I can't be bothered with the number of cards and the various sizes :p

I'm waiting on a SanDisk Extreme IV 4GB. It was £12 more pricey then the III one, but the transfers to the Mac should be faster if I upgrade my card reader so I figure it'll be worth it if I'm uploading a lot of pics.

I have Sandisk Ultra II, PQI, and regular Sandisk CF cards. I don't know why people are so hung up on getting the fastest cards out there. Most of the time, my camera doesn't make use of the extra speed. And when I transfer to my computer with a CF card reader, I just do something else as the copy completes. I just moved 5GB of photos off my CF on Saturday. Even with the slow cards, the performance benefit was negligible.

No-name made in Korea 16GB card. Works great and the speed is something I don't care unless damn slow.

sandisk extreme IIIs
the speed is worth it...especially considering you can score them for about $7 bucks per card after rebate every 3 or 4 months

Ditto. I have a couple of Sandisk Ultra IIs in my bag, but the majority of my cards are Extreme IIIs. In my mind, no sense buying something slower if faster can be had for around the same price.

A couple of A-DATA "Speedy" 60x CF cards (8GB & 16GB).

One Sandisk 8GB Extreme III CF card.

Assorted SDHC cards (most of them 2GB that were FAR from Fry's).

I usually have the 16GB A-DATA card in my D700; holds about 1200 compressed 12-bit RAW images, and it never gets full from my use.

It depends on how fast your camera is and if you shoot continous often or not. And the increase in speed makes uploads to your pc faster if you have a fast card reader.
