What medicine has messed you up the most.

Stadol NS, the best stuff I have ever had, better than demerol, vicodin, or any other narcotic I have had . . . .

It has VERY hard to stop using

Squirt it in your nose, and a minute later I woudl be talking silly, and 5 minutes later I would be out cold

Wellbutrin a few years ago as an aid to stop smoking. Goofed me up bigtime, sweaty, shakes etc etc. Recently was on Lipidil for high cholestrol and had a reaction after being on it for a month. My feet were swollen, felt like you cut golf balls in half and stuck them in my shoes, arches of my feet dropped, face swelled up, chest pains etc etc. Got off it in a hurry!

I took Ambien and when I woke up the next morning I felt like I had only been asleep two hours rather than the 12 hours I had been asleep.
In the commercial for Ambien it says that when you wake up that you will feel rejuvenated and well rested.
I know, first hand, that is a load of crap.

WHoa...that guy is a moron. 4800mg of ibuprofen in a day will seriously damage your liver. I had a severe tooth ache (some of the worst pain i've ever had) and i was only prescribed 1800mg per day, and I am a pretty big guy (just under 200lbs).

My GP MD prescribed 3,200 MG Ibuprofin (4 X 800MG) daily (along with Ultram, Vicodin and Lidocaine patches . . . she must have had a "Special" from the pharmacy because she also prescribed Paxil). When I asked her if this wasn't too much Ibuprofin, she replied: "It is below the threshold of damage."

I am SO glad to be off the pain meds . . . THAT's why I spent all Winter in Hawaii (getting TCM - acupuncture and healing herbs). 🙂

damn, my doc told me different. I thought you weren't supposed to go over 2500mg per day...oh well.

im on 50mg of zoloft for ocd right now. i have almost no side effects. only one that i have is fatigue throughout the afternoon. once i get to around 7-8 im all good. ive been on it for three weeks now.

My wife has a perscription for it but I've taken half of one when I couldn't sleep before. Stuff knocks me out cold in about 30 minutes. Of course we both warn each other before we take it because we start getting a little silly and talkative. The first time she took it she started talking about "the rainbow of lights on the wall" even though it was pitch dark. I didn't know that Ambien causes you to see things and I was 15 seconds away from calling 911. It's funny now, wish we could record what we say and do, that'd be worth a couple laughs.

Its well known among recreational pill-poppers that fighting the sleepiness of Ambien allows you to enjoy is psychoactive qualities...so don't worry abot, Amigaman, you are completely normal. 🙂

If you want to try the most powerful legal psychoactive (available in a pharmacy, that is), go buy some Robitussin (Cough, not DM or any other preparation containing anything besides DXM), and drink about 2 ounces - you'll feel like a 2 beer buzz, very euphoric, and pleasantly altered visual perception.
THere is a huge recreational Dextromethorphan subculture - 8 oz ingestions lead to some incredible "trips".
