America is the new evil roman empire. I'd rather just roll over and die, hate being part of a society that has no originality or uniqueness.

right, and the fact that we give the most aid to the world and feed many people around the world doesn't make a difference?

another American hater bites the dust

Thanks to us many parts of the world are flourishing democracies.

God Bless America

HAHAHA what a load of sh!t!!!

The united states is not only the #1 sponsor of terrorism by far. We are easily amongst the greatest opponents of democracy and self-determination in the world, although this was declined slightly IMO from the reagan days. Why don't you learn the real history of the US, and not the watered down lies they teach in public school and college.

move out, simple as that

No, i think you should.

wish i had bill gates' money. id buy one way plane tickets for people like you to leave and never come back.

raildogg the link didnt work

I am more an american than you will ever be. Here's your :cookie:

This isn't an attack, but can you explain why you think you are more of an american than he will ever be? I'd just like the know why...

The US is still considered a democracy, while it has abolished so many human rights that even Iran and China have more by now.

Under the new laws torturing prisoners for information is not illegal anymore, and at Guantanamo bay people are held without trial, without access to lawyers, without any basic rights.

You are a dumbass. Hawaii was not a state at the time, but it was a U.S. territory. Therefore it was U.S. soil. It was an attack on Americans on U.S. soil. It was an attack on America.

I bet you probably also think that Hitler wasn't so bad because he made the trains run on time.

your an idiot. Hilter was evil incarnate and our governemnt sat around until the germans had already been beaten. We took absolutely no action to help the jews, when we easily could have.

Dude..and I mean this..GTFO. You slimy piece of sh!t. Learn something about WW2.

You first. To both suggestions.

Try explaining the "our governemnt sat around until the germans had already been beaten." part.

He is right about the Russians bringing Germany the death blow:

Operation Barbarossa, the German invasion of the Soviet Union, commenced on 22 June 1941. The "Great Patriotic War" (Russian: ??????? ????????????? ?????, Velikaya Otechestvennaya Voyna) had begun with surprise attacks by German panzer armies, which encircled and destroyed much of the Soviet's western military, capturing or killing hundreds of thousands of men. Soviet forces came to fight a war of scorched earth, withdrawing into the steppe of Russia to acquire time and stretch the German army. Industries were dismantled and withdrawn to the Ural mountains for reassembling. German armies pursued a three-pronged advance against Leningrad, Moscow, and the Caucasus. Having pushed to occupy Moscow before winter, German forces were delayed into the Soviet Winter. Russian counterattacks defeated them within sight of Moscow's spires, and a rout was only narrowly avoided. This is identified by some historians as the "turning point" in the Allies' war against Germany; others identify the capitulation of Sixth German Army outside Stalingrad in 1943.

Yes, Russia didn't have any military support from US until they started beating Germans in huge battles like Stalingrad and others even though Stalin was asking American military support to fight the war against the Germans before those important and decisive battles.🙂

It's a good thing the Stalin waited until after WWII to purge all of his top Generals.

Wow, talk about a massive exaggeration.

I suppose I could say that a large number of other first world countries are even worse.

What laws are you talking about that allow torturing of prisoners?

That sounds like most of the Western countries today, it's nothing special that only the US holds. I still think that they all have better human rights than Iran or China though.

The prisoners at Guantanamo bay have access to our legal system to challenge the legality of their detention.

This still doesn't convince me that the US waited till the germans had already been beaten. It does convince of something I already knew: the Soviet Union won the eastern front. Wow, imagine that...

What it sounds like you two are trying to say, is that the Soviet Union didn't need any help to defeat the German army..which is insane.

Well?

Well, it doesn't matter.

Instead of what makes America great, why not ask
what great things can america still do? Action,
not stagnation. Where can you find it
in you?

All I'm asking is what made America so powerful. Why are we the only superpower left in the world? Why did others decline while we flourished?

#1 land
#2 guns
#3 resources
#4 land
#5 population
#6 resources
#7 land.
#8 gulible and backward native population

dont piss on the WW2 heroes, without them many of us would not be here.

Do have any factual basis for this? of course not because they is none. Where would all these americans gone? hmmm?

Neither german nor japan posed a real threat to the american continent. By the time we actually bothered to invade europe, the germans had already all but been defeated. We invaded to prevent the USSR from taking control of all of europe.

you disgust me. right, and Pearl Harbor was on foreign soil I assume? well anway thats besides the point

Without American intervention, the war would have lasted for much longer and more people would have been gassed to death in the concentration camps. I believe Germany would have conquered most if not all of Europe, and Japan had China and SE Asia under its grip.

We should all be thankful to the great heroes of WW2, without them America isn't the superpower that it is today.

Pearl harbor was not on american soil at the time.

american did absolutely nothing to speed up ww2 and did nothing to prevent or slow the concentration camps. I can't understand how uninformed you have to be to think german EVER had a chance once they invaded russia. As soon as the germans invaded, the war was over. All that was left was bringing the war to its conclusion. Russia had many times as many troops under arms in europe than the US did.

Second, america would have been a superpower regardless if we were involved with ww2. The only difference would be that all of germany would have been in the russian sphere.

are you nuts? america did nothing to prevent or slow the concentration camps? tell that to my grandfather who liberated one. tell that to the people who would not have lasted another day if his batallion did not rescue them. they did nothing?...you disgust me.

 These fools are fvcked up in the head. I'd like to know where they went to school...what books they used...

i'd say what makes america so great is its vast oceans on either side, the weakness of our neighbors, natural resources (water, wood, ore), and an easily swayed public opinion.

Now that Europe is uniting and larger countries like China and India are becoing developed, America's "greatness" will become a thing of the past.

Wow you anti American tools need a one way ticket outta here

How is that anti-American?

Still waiting... In fact raildogg is the anti-american here by suggesting that people who don't go along with propaganda should leave the country. He'd be a loyalist if he lived in the 18th century. Again, it comes down to population.

America isn't really different than most developed countries except it's large population and puratinism. The former makes America strong.
