Intellectuals are those who realize their own ignorance, admit to their faults and weaknesses, and try to learn more.

Quasi intellectuals are ones who think they are not ignorant.

When anyone says anything, just pinch your chin and say "hmmmmm.....quite." Also wear glasses and dramatically take them off in the middle of a sentence.

Actually I'm surprised. I've seen a few posts form DS before that seemed level headed enough. He seems to love ponies which is fine with me 😀. Never saw this side of him.

Jack Cashill talked about this in his book when discussing San Francisco. Eventually liberal minded people stop thinking new ideas cuz they just assume whatever they believe is automatically correct.

True intelectuals are simply people with an insacialble thirst for knoledge, usually in one of the academic fields. Maybe if you could seperate your aversion to liberals from this you wouldn't dislike them so?
