what makes a good video game

What do you guys think makes a great video game?
do you guys think today game delvoplers are focusing to much on graphics causing alot of games to suck nowadays?

For me the game needs to have good playability, good replay value. if im playing an rpg style game, a very good story that last like 50,60+ hrs.

Everything else is optional. Deus Ex is an example of a good game. Halo is an example of a bad game.
