What in your humble opinion makes a good picture? Many in this forum have some of the best digital cameras avaliable on the market.
I am of the opinion that it is probably an equal amount of form and content, as in much of the best Art. I know we all have different tastes as to what is good, or we all know what we like but...
Often when thumbing through glossy photography magazines I have to say that by and large most of the images are so cliched that you can often predict what type of photo is on the next page.
When one reduces an analysis of a photograph to lighting, equipment, shutter speed etc. the picture you percieve (a moment in time) becomes how can one say, almost redundant, mechanised.
