Heh. Pandora brought up their cover of "I Will Survive" the other day (on my Decembrists station, weird). I had forgoten how awesome they were.

Cake has butter in it. There is probably some other stuff in there as well but butter is the key ingredient that defines cake.

Baking powder? To give it lift, unlike a brownie which like cake has a similar batter, minus the lifting agent.
