For me, it goes in this order:

1. drink selection
2. cleanliness
3. pool tables
4. TVs cuz i like to watch sports at a bar
5. prices

Well the bar we're looking at definitely is more a mature crowd and the design is very cozy.

Going a second time, im disappointed that there isnt a kitchen. But the current clientle and ambience is great. Just throw in better bartenders and i think we're set.

still trying to figure out how to get pictures

Beer selection (and, to a lesser extent, liquor selection). If all a place has is Bud/Bud Light/Miller Lite on draft and an import/micro selection composed of Heineken and Sam Adams, I wont be back unless there is a strong external reason.

OTOH, if there is a nice selection of non-standard draft beers from a variety of styles (IPAs, stouts, pale ales, brown ales, wheat beer, etc) and a bigger selection of bottled beer, then I'm almost sure to be back to try some different beers.
