My major used to be Computer Engineering Tech, but i had to change to Computer Science this semester because there's not too many 4 yr college in NY with CET. Then again, I want to go for my masters so maybe it's for the better that I switched now.

Working on my b.s. in engineering and applied science. Probably going to stay around and get a masters in EE before I leave though.

I'm currently in Architecture, but considering other options. Not terribly happy. Anyone in architecture or a similar field and switch into some other major that they really enjoy right now? Oh how I would love to just get out of Pittsburgh and study something else in NY!

Psychology major/sociology minor. Hoping they'll slip up and admit me into law school, cus the cognitive psych area I'm preparing my thesis on is not what I want to be doing for a career.

Don't despair -- you are not alone. In prehistoric times (the 40's) I set out to be a playwright, and thinking it more important to have something worth saying than to be a master of how to say it, was a philosophy major and an English minor. By the time I had wasted several years in the Army/Air Force I had concluded the prospects were better in technology. I have PhDs in mathematics and physics and an honorary doctorate for research I did in information science/cryptology. I still take great pleasure in writing.

Women Studies and Computer Engineering. Unfortunately, the Computer Engineering classes didn't have many women for me to study. :(
