If you had the chance to go back and start college again, what degree would you have gone with? And state the degree you have now or trying to work on.

 
I started in Political Science and ended up in MIS. If I were to go back and do it all over again, I'd double major in MIS & Logistics.
 
Math/econ. Would not change it..it's got the perfect blend of "looking good" and it's "real world" applications whereby doing the least actual work possible. That explains why I'm posting now with two finals over the next two days 🙂
 
started out as an English major, ended up as a Communication Studies major.

hey, at least i stayed in the same field - bullsh!t. 😛
 
I'm done with my psychology major (though I haven't graduated yet). If I could do it over, I would've started a creative writing minor earlier so I could graduate with one this year (it's not that many classes, but a lot of them need to go in order... prereqs and such).
 
Started in kinesiology and then business. Didn't finish either and started a full time job. Now I'm planning to go back to school and get a psych degree.
 
Econ is what I am in, but if I would go back, I'd probably just take a whole bunch of different subjects. I'm not interested in one area.

What are typical jobs for psych majors? I was really into Psychology but didn't go with it for job reasons.
 
I'm about to finish English Lit and Political Science, but I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with either of them.

The market's not too good for people with just a BA. They can get jobs as research assistants or in a number of mental health settings (e.g., inpatient, working with autistic children, etc.). They're very limited in what they can do in those settings though.
 
I started off as a Civil Engineer and wound up with Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science degrees
If I had to do it again - perhaps the Medical field.
 
I have a BS in Geology but since I have spent my entire career in computers I guess I would have gone with CS.
 
Started and ended as a Zoology major. Sorta wished I could have gotten a few minors (Microbiology or Chemistry) but that's about it.
 
I majored in accounting. If I had my way I would have gone with something a little less practical and a little more interesting like philosophy or photography, but I don't want to be a waiter for the rest of my life.
 
BA in Economics. Wish I had had taken up Engineering(electrical, computer, aero, whatever). I want to build stuff!!!!(not just computers).
