What major awards has LOTR won so far?

I know they've won a few minor Oscars and other awards, but I don't know all of them.

I just saw that Peter Jackson won the Golden Globe for best Director tonite.

edit: I'm asking about the whole series of movies, not just 'ROTK'...

Jigga, a bit OT, but I could care less what awards are given to a particular movie, as long as the movie is worth my time, I raise my glass and say cheers :beer:

That's cool, and I'm pretty much the same way (I never watch award shows...except for the first 4 minutes of MTV Awards.) I was just curious, and I know that there are folks on the forums keeping track

Here's a good website showing nominations/wins by the LOTR movies in a bunch of awards shows.
Interesting that LOTR had never won a golden globe before tonight, and ROTK has won 3 so far (song, score, director), and is up for best picture. Maybe this is LOTR's year.
I know its not important at all, but its just kind of interesting to me.
