What MacBook should i get?

Out of the 3 macbooks, what one do you think i should get?

well i want to get the most out of my money. im using it for making music. i mainly debating on getting the 1099 version or the 1299 version.

just recording/mixing music.
web surfing.
misc document writing.

If you don't need the DVD burner, get the cheapest one
If you want the DVD burner get the more expensive white Macbook
If you want one in black, well I think you know what to get

Also you can upgrade the hard drive online in case you want more hard drive space but don't want the Superdrive

I'm pissed that mine doesn't have it now. Although I got my Macbook for 800 dollars at the time. I just use a external DVD drive to USB.

When I got my MacBook i opted to not get the SuperDrive... really wish I had. If you have the cash, get the middle model.

definitely get the 1299 one. seriously, all of my friends who cheaped out (literally, and stupidly paid for the 2GB ram upgrade) now wish dearly that their macbook came with a dvd-rw instead of a dvd/cd-rw drive.

besides...you'll definitely notice the 200mhz speed increase...haha lol.

get the mid one. don't bother with the black macbook... such a damn shame too cause it looks nice... but the premium is ridiculous
