I posted a few of mine on my website.

Here is a synopsis:

Life Lessons Learned By Deleted member 139972

1. Work is not everything in your life. Nobody on their deathbed wished they spent more time at the office.

2. Do not confuse work as spending time with friends. Spending time with friends is just being together just because it's fun.

3. Understand and abide to all copyright laws.

4. You cannot operate a watercraft in Ohio without a boaters license if you were born after 1981.

5. Your love of your life is just that. Live life with love and make sure that they are always #1 on your list no matter what. Without them, you are a car without an engine. An eagle without wings. A toilet without poop. ughh... you get the picture. :)

6. Cherish your family. They will love you no matter what you do.

What life lessons have you learned?

if a chick doesen't appreciate the bounds you'd go to for her, spend that energy on yourself instead, save yourself some headache and head out with your buddies instead.... same effect

For love, simply - "don't settle". Don't settle for someone you don't really want. I know too many people who are stuck in relationships because they didn't know they could do better. If you're not satisfied, keep looking.

Not so much a lesson but, every single time I trim my fingernails, I need the later that day or the next day for something. Like opening a package or something. Every. Single. Time.

I'm writing a book on careers. Part of it is a section on lessons learned from people I interviewed. A lot of them said a couple things on your list here...like, a job will only use you, your family will still be there to love you...if you become a workaholic and your family hates you, you're hosed, because when you get old and useless, the job will dump you like a sack of potatotes. Your family will always be there if you take good care of them, however.

Unprotected sex isn't worth it. Always wear your hat.

And, when in doubt, whip it out.

The more I learn, the less I know. At least for things like politics, morality, religion, and especially love.

I'm still learning that when it comes to looks and personality, you've just got to do the best with what you've got. You may never become that idealized version of yourself in your head, but the right people will appreciate you anyway.
