Please give me some input. ALso can Battlefield run widescreen?

I had the viewsonic and returned it due to a dead pixel out of the box. I got the samsung 205BW and it is great, I love it. There was something just off about the viewsonic's picture, but I may have had a defective one.

I'd assume that the 225 is just the 205 but bigger, and therefore great also, but I've never tried one.

I just picked up that viewsonic two weeks ago. I wasnt' able to compare it to the other models you have listed, but I am very happy with it. I got it at Office Depot when they had it on sale for $245, which I couldn't pass up.

I love my Dell 2407 as I have stated many times before and Oblivion looks pretty great on it powered by a 1900XT.

I would not consider this one. It is probably a knockoff samsung panel. If you want a 19" lcd, get the benq fp93gx. It is on sale for $210 shipped @ newegg.
For 20" widescreen, check out lg's offerings. They have an "8-bit" panel (not true 8bit but they use some special technology to achieve 16.7 million colors) that is very good. I found it for $330 @ circuitcity.com.

I have no idea of who made this, but I have spoken with some friends on other forums who have bought it, and were very happy with it. Considering the contrast ratio and the response time, I doubt that it is too bad of a monitor.

widescreen is not supported by BF2 if you were wondering but you can put you can modify things so there full screen without it looking bad but it's not true native widescreen.

check these forums out for alot of info on widescreen and gaming along with widescreen monitors:
