What LCD TV should I get for $1700?

I got a Sharp AQUOS® 42" LCD HDTV (LC-42D62U) for $1,700 with a 3 year warranty. Can anyone beat this deal? I am nervous about the 1200:1 contrast ratio. It does 1080p, 2 HDMI ports, 480 brightness....

Anything better for the money?

I have a 47 Inch Vizio 1080p TV for the same price, and I love it. However the sharps are pretty darn good, so unless 5 inches is a big deal to you I think you did good.

you are worried about numbers that i do not believe are measured with any standard, so sit back and enjoy your tv.

there is always a better deal out there tomorrow but if you wait until then you will never enjoy the fruits of your labor
