WHAT king of turtle am I????? help please

He was given to me by a friend who cant care for him. I want to take good care of him or her. But i need to know how to care for it properly

Looks like all the turtles are around here in Illinois. We just call them speed bumps No idea on the name.

I had one, and fed him crickets. put one of those heat rocks in his cage for him to lounge on if he ever got cold. He lived forever.

appears so..at least it is a turtle and not a tortoise..sheez Evadman ...try to avoid running them over ..
