What kinda parents would tell their kids to stop doing SAT Prep?

Yawn.

I was doing SAT prep and my parents screamed at me, saying it was 12:30 and that I was working too hard (wtf?) and that I could be doing this tomorrow afterschool, then they told me to go to sleep.

I decided to prep for SATs anyways, since I'm doing extremely pathetic on them (1820/2400 last time I checked).

Anyone else notice that the math section of the SATs are ridiculously easy? I keep making silly mistakes (ex: forgetting to double a number) and screwing everything up. I'm a failure at engllish anyway, so I'm working on that.

Had to rant. Sorry.

Edit: Do I deserve a cookie?

First off....so what, go to sleep and work on it tomorrow, SAT prep doesn't make THAT much of a difference.

Second off...the SAT's only mean so much, its not like they are the end of the world

Third off, wtf kind of a score is that?

1) Nah. Listening to Led Zeppelin motivates me.
2) I dont care.
3) A bad score.

Fine, waste your time and don't get sleep.

What does that score translate to in normal people language?

i had to yell at my parents ( just mom, really) to stop making me do SAT prep. still got a 1430, no worries.

and how the hell are you getting 1800 on the SAT?

I never bothered to take them. I got into SUNY just fine. Of course, after a couple days, I decided it wasn't for me.

(Math + English + NEW WRITING SECTION)800 points/section = 2400 points.

Just to clarify.

Edit: Yes, the math section of the SAT is ridiculously easy but the way they WORD the questions is tricky. That said, it isn't a bad test at all.
