I have an Adidas jacket that I bought years ago, I've bought other coats since but I like this one. It's "reversible", but I like keeping the fuzzy part on the inside.

need to get me a peacoat or some sort of wool jacket but i do have a jacket or two. but I usually hoodie up.

for work i'll just put on a sweater. it's pointless because when i walk around on the manufacturing floor I'll sweat even with my button down shirt. so i usually roll up the sleeves anyway. so really the bundling up is for walking to my car and waiting for my car to warm up

shortsleeves are perfect for me at work :p

looking for some ideas and inspiration :) I need a new coat for this year... I went shopping yesterday and found one I liked, but it was way more than I'd be willing to pay.

what did the one you liked look like?

it was a darf green wool peacoat with gold buttons.

mostly, I just <3 that color combination, but it was also the softest wool I've ever felt for a coat.

tell me it was really dark green :p

i like wool peacoats on guys, especially black and dark grey ones. they can easily wear a scarf with them as to have a hoodie on underneath and still look nice.

Some gigantic North Face monstrosity. You can always tell when it gets really bad here after even the hardcore trendy people dump their nice looking coats for the heavy duty Columbia/NF/MH gear.

I hate Chicago winters.

think hunter green

I kinda want to stay away from black/brown just because they're so common/boring.

I have some sort of Carolina jacket, just got that for college. Before that, a hoodie was just fine.

A reversible Abercrombie & Fitch coat from 2001 or so. 2" vertical collar, dark blue nylon on one side, thick gray fuzz on the other. Cinch waist. My ideal coat until I foolishly dry-cleaned it.
Kind of medium weight.

I have a windbreaker shell with a removable fleece liner. made by pacific trails or something, not great, but the winters here usually arent too bad so it suffices and the price was right at about $70. if its too cold and windy here i just wear 2 shirts instead of one, but i rarely have to keep both pieces together.

i also have an insulated fleece that my mom got for me in canada when she was on a cruise and its quite warm. dont remember the brand right now.

Once it starts getting cold, my winter coat grows in naturally. then, in the spring, I shed most of it...:p

I own a few Carhartt cold-weather coats and jackets. Not exactly stylish...nor dressy, but the fuckers are certainly warm.

I have one nice leather bomber jacket with a zip-in liner for cold weather, but in the 20 years that I've had it, I think I've put the liner in maybe 4 times...

I have one "nice" winter coat that I've owned for decades...still like brand-new because I never wear it...:D I think it's poly-fill something or another not down, but it's about as warm as down, it just doesn't "shed" like down.

A ZeroXposure snowboarding jacket I found at Kohl's for $40. Pretty damn nice for the price, down-filled, waterproof, lots of utility pockets for snowboarding stuff, and warm and comfy.

A black and yellow Polaris Edge X jacket for snowmobiling. A grey and orange Liquid snowboarding jacket. And I just got a new leather jacket that used to be my grandpa's. It's all about options!

I have a Columbia 2 in 1 jacket. I'm thinking about replacing it though - it's not the warmest of coats to be walking around in the Chicago winter with. It's basically a fleece with a wind/water proof shell.

Best gift I ever got was a nice insulated fleece coat made by Carhartt. I throw a light windbreaker over the top of it and I can be warm and snug on the coldest, wettest days.

not a titanium, but a very good one anyways

I bought it at the end of a winter season and got it for 120CDN instead of 350 :)

I bought from Sportchek (canadian sport mogul)

Wow, that's almost exactly what I was going to say. I bought mine at Sportchek last winter at a sweet deal too.
