i got a new video card(its very old agp), but i have no clue what it is..

i have no drivers for it, and theres no names or anything on the card. i saw a site before that will give you a read out of all your hardware, and another site where you put in some numbers on the card and it will tell you what it is, anyone happen to have those links, or some equally good advice?

TIA

I don't know of any site that will tell you. Have you tried to plug it in and see what windows thinks it is?

Also you might want to just post any numbers/names off of the cards chips or the board it self. Maby some one will recognize it. And if you have a digital camera handy you might want to post a image.

i plugged it in, it doesnt say what it is (or maybe i missed it). and sorry, dont have a camera..but the card looks like half the size of a normal one and has a green heat sync.

if it helps these numbers are on the barcode sticker : ct7 990400469206 and vga-i740a4/8sdj ...so im thinking it could be an intel 740, but those drivers dont seem to work. the fcc id is fqii740tvagpsd ..i used http://www.windrivers.com/company.htm but doesnt help.

I did a little homework for you and it seems to be based on the legacy Intel 740 graphics accelerator. You can download the driver from here,
