What kind of UT is best???

Assault is awesome, with bots it is definitely the most entertaining, on an internet game however, NOTHING beats a game of Facing Worlds Capture the flag.
 
Hard to say. Speaking from a point of view that includes only pratice games with bots and LAN games (sorry, no Internet laggy slow pathetic bad games😉), I'd have to say that the most fun overall comes from humans vs. bots Capture the Flag, with the bots set at some insane skill level. 🙂 The games that offer the greatest adrenaline rush would have to be all humans deathmatch. Nothing like jumping over rockets at the last milisecond to make you feel alive. 🙂
 
CTF, without a doubt. Assualt requires a team to be familiar with the map in order to be successful, while CTF if you dont know the map, you can camp or something.
 
I would have to agree w/ Killbat, but i've never tried a human v human Assault match. That sounds pretty damn fun. And you only need to play the assault maps a couple of times to get the hang of em. The objectives in each map are pretty much the same: Hit a switch or blow something up.
 
The problem I have with human vs human Assault is that I'm one of the best, if not the best, UT player within the small group I "LAN" with. That means the entire opposing team is trying their damnedest to stop me. 😀

i like capture the flag with the lava giant map. getting on top of that mountain and sniping everything that moves is fun
 
Assault. And Slip, bots are lame. They dont hammer jump, rocket launch, any of the cool stuff. Its not even fun. If you want to play people that are like bots go onto Spacemonster Assault, they have a rocket launch stopper, so all you can do is hammer. It's one of the better servers although most of the big boys play on the NA Assault Server now.

BULLSH|T. Take me to ANY Assault server without a competent team and watch me win the maps in .30.

For CTF my favorite maps are Hydro16 and Lava Giant. Has anyone else downloaded Hall of Giants. Is a great long hall with a high roof and low gravity.
I like playing Asault to I just wish there were more maps. Does anyone know a good site to get new Asault maps?
