What kind of tires do you recommend?

I know it depends on the vehicle, but what brand do you stick to for the most part?

I purchased Yokohama YK420's today, nice tires.

I've always been happy with higher performance Bridgestones, but my roommate swears by Toyos and won't buy anything else.

I had some Toyos on my old CRX r.i.p🙁
They were nice, I ran through them fairly fast though.
Thats been years ago...

Toyo......

Proxes for the Audi and the Touring ones for my Van

Good bang for the Buck and I didn't find that they wore out fast..au contraire, I found they lasted 3 summers

When we got our van, there were decent tires on it, tread-wise, but it was horrible in the snow. Couldn't accelerate or stop at all. Very dangerous. We bought some new tires, 'A' rated on traction, but not an expensive tire. Still couldn't handle snow well at all. Last year I replaced the tires with some Michelin LTX beauties and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I've learned my lesson. Those tires were about 30% more expensive, but 100% better. They'll wear a LOT longer than the cheap ones too, so it's money well spent. If Michelin makes a comparable car tire to these, BUY 'EM!

Who make the tires for Costco Kirkland... I think there Michelins but not sure ne1 know.

ARe the kirkland just as good as michelins.
