What kind of Tie do you Tie

I have to go to a wedding this weekend and it's the first time in a while that I will be wearing a tie. I usually do a 4 in hand but I might switch it up.


Which do you prefer?

I don't. To hell with ties.
I wear dress shirts that have that kinda preacher-style collar.
But I think they taught us Windsor in the Air Force.

I prefer the windsor but I have a ridiculously large neck so if it is not an extra long tie I just go with the 4 in hand.

Full Windsor... of course... anyone who does a half windsor doesn't know how silly they look with half a knot

Half-Windsor can be tied in seconds and looks the best IMO. Nice solid shape without looking too bulky like the Windsor and doesn't look lop-sided like the 4 in hand.

When I was in my Frat they made us wear suits during initiation and the one that was taught was the 4 in hand. We had to learn to do it without a mirror. Now, I can't do it in front of mirror without screwing up.

I grew up learning the 4-in-hand method, so it's the way I do it.

no clue. I was never aware that there were more than one or two ways to tie a tie, and couldn't distinguish between them with a gun to my head.

I haven't worn a tie since prep school, and thank god for that 😀

Half windsor, I learned the others but have since forgot how to do them since the half looks the best to me.

Noose does come in handy, especially for weddings.

Don't know what it's called probably the half windsor.

What ever one goes, round and round. Then you get sick and up it comes, but make sure you toss up in the toliet. Sorry that's the way I remember how to do it.
