What kind of system would you need to play HALO?

i'm curious, since this game looks soooo dope. i wonder if a tnt2 would be able to cut it...

Since Microsoft bought out Bungie, I'm guessing we'll have to go and buy an X-Box to play it :|.

Has anyone heard any definite answers as to what platform Halo will be available for?

well i know a guy from msoft, although he prolly doesn't know too much about msoft's internal decisions.

Don't be so angry--realize that the total cost of the X-box will be the same as the cost of the latest graphics card, but you're getting a whole system with games made to take full advantage of it.

as for system requirements

<< Bungie will not release engine details, but that E3 movie - it was run on a Pentium III 450 with a TNT2 card and 128 MB of system RAM. That is almost a low end computer by today's standards. >>

They had a movie at E3 and it it going to take them almost another two years to complete it for the pc? I was thinking it was gonna be around to compete with Tribes 2 and maybe TF2... but then again TF2 probably won't be out till 2002 at this rate...

isn't the movie different than running the actual game? running a movie at fullscreen is totally different than running the game itself - much less cpu intensive.
