The brown recluse is only an issue if you don't treat the bite. Once the bite begins to recess, you need to get to a Dr. If you wait it will get infected and that's where the trouble starts.

"But the poison injected by the the Black Widow bite can cause abdominal pain similar to appendicitis as well as pain to muscles or the soles of the feet. Other symptoms include alternating salivation and dry-mouth, paralysis of the diaphragm, profuse sweating and swollen eyelids."

PLease, my girlfriend has these symptoms on a daily basis, lol. I think she's a hypochondriac.

That spider is awesome. It looks like some sort of futuristic mechanized robo-spider or something with the red and silver coloring.

At work we have some brown recluses that came in on some boxes from Tennesee. They are creepy little spiders. There are a bunch of them

I help my dad pull deer out of the woods that he shot. Usually we go in the dark, and in the August - January months here, there are ALOT of really nasty looking spiders. The ones I can name that you run into:

Cross Spider about the size of a half dollar.
Orchard Spider a little larger than a quarter
Nursery Web Spider about 3" legs.
Orb Weaver the ones i mostly see are very small and build between weed stalks but ive seen the larger varieties that are are a bit larger than a quarter but build webs around 18 ft. but ive also heard them do 25.
Last but not least, the most hated for me --> Golden Silk Spider Those things get dam big (ive seen 6 in. leg spans on the female) And in October they are EVERYWHERE in these woods. I mean you literally walk into the woods a few feet to see one and turn to either side to notice that there is one only about 2 inches from your face. I swear those things freak me out and their webs are like steel. When its pitch black in the woods and you run into their webs (Which you will eventually down here) you completely lose it knowing full well whats on that web.

No and I would not consider it a death ray but it will blind you instantly if you look into it or a refection of it. :Q

That would punch a hole in the spider, then the drywall, then the framing, then the roof sheathing and shingles, then the airplane, then the moon and piss off the aliens on the far side of the moon who would then atack the earth and kill us all.

So your attempt to kill the spider would result in the extermination of all mankind. good job.

Actually the steel of the ship is quite good at stopping laser beams. :p

The 2.5W Melles Griot with the combiner can burn the most difficult Awlgrip with ease especially with 1 mm exit and 0.5 mR divergence! Definitely an eye opener. Oh what a pun indeed!

The owner/operator of the rig has regaled many a tale of laser stories in the past. None involving aliens thank goodness!
