I got the Z640 By Logitech. They have an amazing subwoofer and true 5.1 sound. I can rattle my windows while fragging! Very smooth Low Bass. And the satellites are crisp and clear too. Nothing like playing UT2004 with a 5.1 setup in your PC room! I am on the soundstorm chipset right now. I havent used any other sound card yet.. I will be on ACcodec when I get my NEO4 going.

But these speakers if you can find em are excellent. I paid $60 shipped about a year ago.

I have the following for each of my PC's:
1. Klipsch v.2-400
2. Logitech Z-560
3. Altec Lansing ACS495 (really old)
4. Onkyo TX-DS989 Ver. 2 with Paradigm 7.1 speaker setup

I have the Klipsch ProMedia Ultra's 5.1 for my main PC along with some Sennheiser HD555s and some old Altec Lansing 4.1s for a secondary pc. The other computer just have generic speakers. I like to invest money in parts that last a long time. I'm sure the Klipsch speakers will outlast every other part in my computer.

Edit: I also have a HTPC hooked up to a pretty cheap surround sound setup in my basement. A Sony 12" Sub is the highlight of that setup. I think the Klipsch sound better than these though.

I use headphones. Chaintech AV-710 > Maxi Moy Amp > Audio-Technica A900. Costs roughly $350.

Which do you like the best?

I'm still using my old $120 Boston Acoustics BA4800's. Review here

But I am seriously considering picking up one of those hot, new Logitech Z-5300e's this week. What do y'all think of those?

I've had the Klipsch v2-400s since they came out something like 4 years ago. They still sound awesome and I'm not shy about turning them up:). I use them for music and gaming and they kick major arse!

My favorite is 4, which is for my HTPC. I only use it to watch movies. I use the Z-560 on my most used regular PC. These are my second favorite, but my most used.

That's the oldest (by far) part of my system, the v.2-400's.

I also have no plans to swith out my speaker system any time soon. ;)

I have some cheap boxed speakers from the store, like $25. Came with a so-called subwoofer, but it's like a 3 inch cone diameter.
