What kind of speakers are used for PC sound?

I need to build some custom computers for a childcare center. I won't go into the details of the design specs, but I want to incorporate some small bare speakers into a custom "one piece" computer that the kids can't destroy, yet still has some basic sound.

Please, no retail speakers inside cases. I need only the naked speaker, and only large enough for basic sound that the kids can hear and understand educational software instructions, yet won't blare out another PC on the same desk.

my kids school has a bunch of 17" monitors with the speakers built in and also has a jack for headphones. I'd go that route. My 19" LCD has em built in. I don't use em but would be good for your purpose
