What kind of socks do you buy and where do you buy them?

Fruit of the Loom arch support socks, K-Mart is the only store I've found here that carries them. Also happens to be the only thing I go to K-Mart for. Walk in, buy my three packs of socks, walk out.
 
I prefer to buy and hold sock index mutual funds, like VFINX which is a collection of 500 different brands of socks.

Or gold toe, that works too.
 
Its time for me to replace all my brown socks. I usually buy like 10 pairs at a time and replace the entire stock. That way I grab two and they always match. Black, brown, or grey, I do the same for all. Only thing this doesn't apply to is my 3 pairs of wool hiking socks.
 
I get all my white socks from Costco. They change brand names from time to time, but they're the same white cotton socks with a mottled gray foot. VERY cushy. Otherwise, I only wear wool socks. Year around. I have some "casual hiking" socks I got at Costco. Nice, cushy, 85% (IIRC) wool. My dressier socks are all Smartwool.
 
Used to buy Hanes brand, and they would get thin very quick.

This last go round I bought two 10 packs from Sam's Club, forget the brand, but they have been the best socks I've ever owned.
 
I'm very picky about the socks I wear. Cheap ones just don't control moisture well. I usually either get Adidas from Joe's or Smart Wool for either Joe's or Backcountry Outlet.
 
I like Nike drifit socks the best... last ones I bought though were BOGO black no-show socks from Footlocker. Just their in-house brand. They aren't as nice...but buy one pack get one free(12 pairs total) was a solid deal.
 
Whatever white ankle sock that are on sale at Modells. And whatever black calf socks are on sale at Modells. I am a man. I buy socks when I am down to 3-4 pairs. Same with undies. When the holes are too large thats when I buy new. 🙂
