what kind of snob are you?

Cap'n Crunch with Crunch Berries. That shitty bagged knockoff is not consumable.

EDIT: Won't go lower than Jack in the Box for hamburgers either, and even that is only when I'm desperate and know that there will be no In-N-Out or home-grilling in my near future.

I'm a natural fiber snob. Cotton, wool, linen, hemp, and leather were good enough for Jesus.
I'm a not-from-concentrate orange juice snob.
I'm a no HFCS or whey in my ice cream snob.
I'm a real cheese snob.
I'm a flour tortillas made with lard snob.
I spell grey with an e because I like the way it looks.

i'm the worst about music (in general) and sound reproduction (stereos).

not a whole lot else. certain foods, maybe beer, sure, but any 'snobbiness' is mild.

Well I wouldn't exactly consider myself a snob in anything. I don't look down on people for using any quality item they choose for whatever purpose. In this sense I very much agree with GodlessAstronomer here. I like to think I'm a live and let live kind of guy. I would never look down on anyone elses purchase decisions unless it somehow became the central topic of discusion. However when it comes to my own personal purchases I guess I am sort of snobish. I like quality things. Computer Hardware, Home Theatre equipment, video game consoles, accessories, camera gear, all of it I like to get medium top of the line or "prosumer" stuff. I don't go for expensive clothing though and will wear shirts and pants till they fall apart. I like good food but have never really eaten at expensive restaurants (but we eat out a lot at average places).

I'm kind of an audio snob. I've spent more on headphones than most people do on mp3 players, and I have a bad habit of going into way more depth than people want when they ask about my mp3 player and headphones.

Well given that most people don't spend that much on MP3 plays that doesn't tell us how much of an audio head you are. Have you spent say $800-$1000 or more on a set? Sennheiser 800s are about $1700 😱

I'd say you aren't a fully fledged hifi audio snob yet until you own a tube preamp/amp unit and all those fancy enthusiast stuff (we 300B, all the bells and whistles running the purchases over a few grand) 😎

Oh nowhere near that much... yet. I spend way more than any college kid should though. Once I get out and have a job I see myself spending way too much.

I'm not really an audiophile as I'm focused on the portable stuff. I don't have any sort of funds for having a home system so I don't know much about it. Just a bit of a snob on the subject.

OH Gawd, I thought $80 was expensive!

I will never buy a piece of electronics if it has more than 10 dollars of sales tax tagged on.

If you lived in Canada that would mean not being able to buy anything more than about 90 bucks. 12% sales tax. If you lived in Europe it would be significantly more in some countries.

Thank god I don't live in those countries. Something that costs 500 euros over there costs 500 dollars over here😱.
