Garter?

aren't garter snakes black and a lot smaller than that?

actually they can get decent size.. hmm the first one kinda looks like a young Ball python.

I have a ball python, definitely looks like one, but only in the first pic. The others have a different pattern.

If you think that looks like a Ball python, you're either on crack or need to get your monitor/eyes adjusted

Yeah, look at the head. Ball pythons have a way different shaped head and body.

Not to mention they're totally different colors

Beware.

I really LOL'd! :D

I agree that it's a rat snake; it's not poisonous but that doesn't mean it won't bite you. It's markings are very similar to the boa constrictor family but the coloring is wrong.

Please don't kill it (it might be too late to say this). They eat rodents and are very helpful in farming areas. You can safely pick it up (they are NOT slimey) by pinning it down behind the head and picking it up in the same place, right behind the head, with you thumb and forefinger.

They are not slimey. The tail is not poisonous. Satan does not live inside it. Pick it up, carry it to the edge of the woods and put it down. It will be very glad to run away from you.
