What kind of router could I get for around $100?

It appears that my airport extreme is almost dead and I would like a new router as soon as possible. I've got around $100 to spend on a new one and anything that works with 802.11b and 802.11g is fine and as long as it can handle around 8 computers online at the same time it'll work. Thanks.
edit: I forgot that it has to be compatible with both macs and pcs.
I was thinking about getting this router: Asus

As long as the router conforms to 802.11 b/g standard, it should be compatible w/ both mac and pc (or even linux).

see here for a hardware guide.

The Asus has an unusual feature of double Firewall (one for wire, one for Wireless). If you do not need this feature, it is an overpriced unit.

Very Good and Inexpensive, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833162173

Extra Power, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833162134

Enthusiast?s choice, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833124190

If you are looking for a sub $100 that would handle 8 computers busy ?Snatching? software with P2P, No Router would work well.

I just have 8 computers in my house and sometimes all of them are just left on, sometimes only a few are left on. I'm not saying that all 8 are being used, but that they're connected often, but idle.

LAN traffic just goes through the Router's switch, and thus it does not matter which Router is used.

The issue is with Intrenet load. If 8 computers are bussy with very heavy download, entry level Routers usually cave in.

Otherwise 8 computer is not a big deal to any of the Brand name Routers.

Alright thanks, I think I'm going for the linksys you linked me too. Would I be able to use my xbox360 on xbox live at the same time as using my computers online? I use a wired connection to my X360, so could I plug in both hardwire and wireless at the same time on that router? Thanks.

I've never used xbox, but I have the BUFFALO WHR-G54S (1st one on Jack's list) as my AP and it's been rock solid.

I wonder if this would be a good one:

D-Link 802.11g 54Mbps Wireless USB Network Kit - DWL-922 + Wireless USB Adapter Wireless USB Adapter for $65.19 - auto $20 off $50 using Google Checkout - $35 rebate (Exp 11/30) = $10.19 with free shipping.

(Depending on what JackMDS thinks about it)

It is very inexpensive, and can be a very good solution if your needs are humble.

I.e. you mainly do simple surfing with one or two computers, and your are not seeking long distance in Wireless coverage.

I usually suggest this combo, when it is on sale to friends who are not computer enthusiasts, have a desktop, and a Wireless Laptop, and want to use the laptop within a room or two in regular home.

This is the best price I ever saw for this combo.

P.S giving my friends? age, they are not into online gaming or p2p software "Snatching".
