What kind of power supply do I need?

I am planning on upgrading my system to an Athlon XP, so I need to replace my old Enlight 250W. The Antec Truepower series so far looks to be very good, but I am not quite sure what wattage I should spring for. I am planning on using 2 7200PRM hard drives, a Geforce4, cd-burner, and a 1700+ processor. I would like to be able to upgrade my processor in the future. I am looking at the cheap True330, but I'm thinking that might not be enough. How much juice do I need?

Please help- thanks in advance.

I think that would be OK. Just to be safe and for future use you may want to spend a little more and get the 380 or 430. Going by Newegg prices you might as well get the 430.

Newegg.com prices as of 8/25/2002

330 $53
380 $75
430 $78

You will need at least 18A on your 5 volt leg to meet the demand of the XP1700 (using one myself) so I would say run at least a 350W PS.

If your planning for the future also, I would look for at least 30A on the 5V, 28A on the 3.3V and a minimum TCO of 200watts for the 3.3v&5V regardless of what brand you choose. Just my opinion though.
