What kind of power does a typical police car have?

Haven't seen the Australian ones, but Euro cop cars look funny, at least the ones i see in the movies. 🙂

I know back in the day when I went to auction that when the city sells the retired cop cars the older ones had restricter plates installed and the rev limiter was put back on so yes they are faster most likely with a bigger intake and the rev limiter remove. It will go faster then the one you can normally buy off the show room floor.

It's got a cop motor, a four forty cubic inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before the catalytic converter so it'll run good on regular gas.

how many NASCAR drivers have dies in accidents? or more correctly, how many cars have been destroyed thus far? i don't think that NASCAR drivers have better driving skill, but they do know how a car reacts in a high speed environment which might give them the edge in such a situation.

I don't think the number of race car drivers who die in accidents is a good way to determine driving skill:roll: I give NASCAR a lot of flak, but they're ALL better drivers than almost anyone in the general public.

Even the Veyron is not faster than the ol' Motorola's radio waves.

You can outrun a police cruiser easily. But you'll never outrun the Motorola. They'll just radio ahead and set up a roadblock.
