What kind of plants do I have

Very basic houseplant, just curious what the actual name of it might be. Pretty much just green leaves and viney.

Also, is it bad to over water them? If the catcher at the bottom of the pot fills with water should I empty?

So far I like how they've been growing.

i have that, it is a most hardy houseplant, even my wife cannot kill it. she has a black thumb and kills most plants rather quickly

i don't know the name

i only water mine when i see the leaves starting to dry out, then i soak it and then let it dry over the next 1-2 weeks, until i remember to check it

Looks like money plant. They're tough--I've seen neglected ones hang on for months! I'd water 1x-2x/wk. It doesn't matter how much water you pour into the pot if the soil is well-drained. (i.e. water doesn't accumulate inside the pot.)

Money plant seems possible, although I mostly see it as money tree, which looks a bit different. Good to hear they're hardy though!

I've got one of those too. My wife brought back a clipping from her sister-in-law's house, it had maybe four leaves on it. Two years later, it's probably about five feet long. I water it once a week, with enough that all the soil looks wet.
