Not ot hard. once you get the cage set up that is.

go to kingsnake it has care sheets on any snake you want.

Our cat just had a litter of 4 kittens, in our bed...

We'll have 7 cats for the next 6 weeks, then back down to 2 when they're all sold.

Hey cool! Another Herper. I have a Ball, a Brazilian Rainbow Boa and a Columbian Redtail Boa. I'm allergic to anything w/fur, unfortunately. Also, I'm seldom home, so snakes are the ideal pets for me.

I once went away on business for almost three weeks. Fed the snakes big meals right before I left and left an extra water bowl in each cage. They never knew I was gone. Heat mats on 24x7 controlled by thermostats. Lights on from 0700-1900 controlled by a timer.

Almost zero maintenance pets. it's a plus that the maintenance men won't come into my apt. unless I'm home...they think they'll get "squished to death."

my set up sounds about the same. i want to turn the basement into a huge snake area. Get some of the big ones maybe. or just a bunch of the smaller ones.

heh when i had my cable modem put into my computer/snake room the guy was leaning against one of the ball python cages. Well the snake was hungry so he wanted to see what was there. the guy was just talking to onother installer then the one starts pointing and the guy looked down and the snake was up against the glass looking at him. The poor guy about died of heart faliure. he ran from the room and would not go back to even get his tools heh.

When @home was bought out by AT&T The modem i had would not work for some reason. So i called AT&T and the guy refused to come to my house they had to send onother guy over

Umm, OK, keep in mind that I live with my fiance in my 850 sq ft house:

35 gallon fish tank w/ about 25 fish
2 cats (sisters)
2 dogs

Dogs are:
A japanese chin - 8 pounds adult. Right now he's about a year old and full gron.
Cocker Spaniel - 4 months old. probably around 20 lbs right now.

Oh ya, keeeping my house clean is a blast!
