What kind of pens to use on CDR surface?

looking at a cdr spindle i have, it said to use a felt tip pen.. so i go out and buy some papermate felt tip pens thinking they will do fine. but when i write on the cdr (tried on memorex brand), it doesnt seem to dry..

wasted $4 figuring this out. so what is the right kind to use? pemanent markers??

I bought a pack of different color TDK CD Mark pens at K Mart. So in 1001 years when everyone who used sharpies has CDs fail, mine will still be going strong .
