thereds- the basic PIM functions of the handheld are built in so there is no need to install them. If he had a 4 year old Palm I have a feeling he uses it for more than just games.

Diamond Mako (Psion Revo Plus) with some extra games installed. I have also had a Series 5 Psion, and a Palm IIIxe. I find that they get boring after a while, I did use the Series 5 to take notes in class though.

they are just fancy toys unless you actually have 5 or more appointments per day.
 
Palm M505 here,

good thing it has expandable memory, since I ran out of included 8Mb in the first week, I'm looking to buy one more 16Mb MMC, since my original one is almost full. By the way, did you know that you can run programs directly from MMC on M505 and they all appear under categories as they're installed on Palm itself. I use it and love it!
 
I have a Handspring Visor Deluxe (blue)

Before I forgot to replace the batteries and everything got deleted, this is what I had on it...(i don't remember all the names though)

I had a remote control on it that came in handy during the silent reading that the entire school had to do
Some book readers (I put sparknotes on them so taht I could cheat in class. hehe)
