What kind of PC resolutions can HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.3 support?

Since HDMI 2.0 support seems to be coming with NV 9xx, and DP 1.3 seems to be ready soon, what kind of resolutions and refresh rates can those perform at the maximum? And I'm thinking without any color space hacks or similar unacceptable image quality reductions.

Does anyone know? Is it as simple as the math in the given bandwidth? Or are there considerations for overhead, error correction, or does a resolution/refresh rate need to be hardcoded in advance or something? I would love to to have this cleared up.

For example to begin with, max resolution and frame rate for 4K and 8K full quality color no 3d.

I know, might be a long wait anyway and not much point about whining about lacking support if neither the cards nor the monitors/tvs support it right now.... BUT I have been actively looking for a confrimation that HDMI 2.0 can do 4K with 120hz and 4:4:4 and no dirty tricks (full pc resolution), and I'm starting to doubt it. DP 1.3 would still have more b/w but even these articles leave me with some lingering doubt and suspicion for not stating it flat out. Why don't they? I know that my knowledge is limited so I mihgt have missed it but I would love to have it confirmed if indeed they can support it.

I guess I suspected that. Well, for now I'm praying that DP 1.3 can do 4K since it would be a HUGE setback not to be able to get the 120hz that so many are getting used to on PC monitors. I've been on this 1600p 60hz monitor so long just because I wanted 120hz when I upgraded... I really want to move beyond 60hz even for desktop browsing and productivity use not to mention gaming and video.

I guess HDMI 2.0 might be able to pull off 120hz 4K with reduced color space, which would probably be good enough for video. I mean, even mobile phones can now record in 60 and 120hz and we're getting that at 4K quite soon I'm guessing (not to mention the 3D benefits).

Can HDMI 2.0 provide 1080P per eye @60Hz in stereoscopic 3D?

Are there any HDMI 2.0 1080P HDTVs?

In the case of only 4k HDMI 2.0 TVs existing, can they provide crisp 1080P image per eye, without blurring, since the TV will not be running at its native res (I am thinking 4 pixels to 1 scaling)?

Also does Nvidia 3DTV Play support 1080P per eye @60hz if the hardware is there? How about Tridef?

thanks.

The current HDMI 1.4 standard can do 3D with 60hz per eye at 1080p. I am certain that HDMI 2.0 will!!!

No 4k TV we have seen yet downscale to 1080p without blurring the image, 4:1 is a benefit we have never in practice seen.

I haven't heard of Nvidia 3DTV. The only 3D tech I know of from Nvidia is called 3D vision and it doesn't work with normal 3D TVs, it requires a 3D vision monitor.

Wait a minute? So why can't I get Full Resolution 60Hz 3D on my Samsung 6400 which has HDMI 1.4 ports? Is it because my 7950s are only HDMI 1.3?

NVidia 3dplay is this
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-overview.html

I believe it only supports 720P though and that maybe due to HDMI restrictions. At least when I tested it with my 570s, it would only allow me to select 60Hz 720P or 24hz 1080P which is a no go.

I wonder if with the new HDMI 2.0 Maxwells combined with 1.4 TVs, something will change?
